     The Quran, the last revealed Word of God, is the prime source of every Muslim’s faith and practice. It deals with all the subjects which concern us as human beings: wisdom, doctrine, worship, and law, but its basic theme is the relationship between God and His creatures. At the same time it provides guidelines for a just society, proper human conduct and an equitable economic system.

     Can Christianity or any other religion compete with Islam? No, they can never. Among all the other religions of the world is there any that can compare with the purity and perfection of Islam? No, there is none! As you read everyday in the newspapers, people from every country and every religion are embracing Islam. In addition, these are the most intellectual and qualified people such as writers, researchers, professors and philosophers. It has been this way throughout history. Not only objective and free thinking individuals are accepting Islam, but priests, nuns and rabbis are becoming Muslims as well. Because Islam is the only true religion with which Allah (c.c.) is pleased; the Holy Qur’an is the only divine book which has never changed, the blessed life of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is as apparent as the shining sun. Islamic rules are always the best and most compatable for the needs of humankind at all times. Islam is the straightest and truest, the most natural and most harmonious, the most scientific and most logical, the soundest and most trustworthy, the most beneficial and the most useful, the most positive and the most worthy of love, and the most modern and most civilised religion.

     This is well known to all, especially missionary organisations. As the Holy Qur’an reveals, they know Islam as they know their own children. That’s why they are so afraid of direct and open confrontation with Islam. They abstain from mutual intellectual and scientific debates. They avoid scientific criticism because they are afraid that the truth will be understood. What do they do when they are afraid? With their vast financial strength, broad resources and legions of personnel, they work silently and secretly. Thus, they undertake zealous activities, promote crusader mentality, religious folklore, unorthodox celebrations such as Christmas gifts, decorated Christmas trees, splendid ceremonies: they also provide free medical care and medicine, sacred water: organise choirs, orchestras, orations, films and novels: propagate through mass media: distribute money, salaries and bribes.

     A few fools taken in by this, have their picture taken by the newspapers while wearing choirboy gowns, under the heading “these Muslims have been baptised as Christians.” Some papers with a well-known bias write (snickeringly) that at a church service attended by both Muslims and Christians, there were so many Muslims that no room was left for the Christians. What a plight we have fallen into in our own country, which we have inherited from our heroic Muslim ancestors! What is yet to befall us in the future?

     Unfortunately, for years there has been an erroneous cultural and educational policy, a wrong direction and goal of our internal and external policies and strange conduct on the part of some government officials. There is pro-Christian propaganda on Turkish television, biased films, books, conferences and theatrical works. Irreligious brutes are in control of the publishing world. Non Muslims; Armenians and Jewish converts have destructive aims and activities. Laws are prohibiting and curtailing Muslim activities thus tying the hands of Muslims. There are so many obstacles on teaching, learning and spreading Islam. All of these have encouraged and enabled the enemies of Islam to work freely.

     The time has come for us to discern a lesson from certain events, to take heed of signs and warnings, to understand how Thursday will develop by analysing the events of Wednesday more carefully. As a nation and a state we must fully open our eyes. We must abandon heedlessness, corruption and treachery. Islam is everything to us. Once we have lost it, we have lost everything, our freedom and our very beings. We will have lost both this world and the next. We will be ruined.

     We must be aware of the games being played, the intrigues being pursued against us. We must be vigilant of our historical and eternal enemies and remove their masks. We must cling tightly to our religion and struggle to protect it with all our might.

     21. Had We sent down this Qur’an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect.

23. Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to Allah. (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him.

24. He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
